Graduated from Arizona State University, Employed in public accounting for several years before joining SAS Electric, Inc. at its inception in 1989.
SAS Electric Inc. was founded in January 1989 to provide quality commercial and industrial contracting in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Our original market focus was commercial tenant improvement and remodeling. Since those early days we have evolved into an organization that offers a broad range of electrical services. With over 150 years of combined electrical experience in our management staff, we can offer our customers exceptional technical expertise, quality installations and the ability to meet today’s demanding completion schedules.

Travis W. Deatsch – Project Manager
Joined SAS Electric, Inc. in 2001 to assist in Business Development. Established a presence in the residential electrical and residential special systems market. Is experienced in the telecommunications fields with a background in design and installation of various telephone and data systems, residential electrical project management, whole house control systems engineering and installation, estimating and sales. He has completed many product specific certification programs within his field. Heads the Residential Division.
William J. Deatsch - President/Shareholder
Started for Corbin-Dykes Electrical Co. in 1971. Was Project Manager on several large projects including the 500,000 square foot Sentry Insurance Building completed in 1976. Joined Climate Electrical Contracting Co. at its inception as Vice-President and Construction Manager and was instrumental in its growth, completing the half-million dollar Shea-Scottsdale Shopping Center in 1980. Accepted the position of General Superintendent of Wilson Electric in 1980 and was active in Wilson’s phenomenal growth over the next four years. Was responsible for all field operations including three $3,000,000 projects: the Maricopa County Jail, the Civic Plaza Expansion, and Ross Abbot Laboratories in Casa Grande. In 1985 RKL Electric Corp. was formed from the nucleus of Wilson assets and personnel, acted as Vice-President and Operations Manager until leaving in October 1988 to start SAS Electric.

David A. Devoy - Vice-President
Completed apprenticeship from 1979 to 1984 while working on various Wilson Electric projects. Was a foreman on the Civic Plaza Expansion project responsible for wiring the complex HID dimming system. Lead foreman for all RKL Electric’s special projects, including re-wiring the entire Fire Alarm and Communications system for Mt. View High School, removal of (2) 1000 kW generators at A T & T, and the Mesa General Hospital Cat Scan Remodel. Handled all of RKL Electric’s tenant improvement work, Joined SAS Electric in March 1989.
When construction is completed SAS Electric Inc. can provide our customers with service for all of their electrical maintenance requirements. Our highly skilled service team is courteous, clean and efficient while meeting our customer’s service needs. We take pride in offering outstanding service at highly competitive rates.
Our commercial electrical construction department has experience in a wide range of commercial electrical projects. Some of our completed projects include new school campuses, large industrial tenant improvements, banks, restaurants, large warehouse shell construction, as well as office tenant improvement and remodel. SAS Electric Inc. has a strong background in medical facilities including kidney dialysis and medical imaging. Our goal has been to establish a good relationship with our customers and to take care of all their electrical requirements whether construction or maintenance.
